For the past several weeks, I have awakened to a very happy baby as usual.  I can hear him in his room playing in his crib so joyfully.  The sound of his cooing and babble is music to my ears, except I am very sleepy and achy in the mornings and I just want to sleep.  I have paid a big price for my need for extra sleep.  When I finally make it out of bed to his room, I am hit with the strong smell of urine.  I mean you would think that ammonia was poured over my little one.  Every morning I approach the crib cautiously not knowing what I am going to find.  Sure enough, he is wet up to his neck.  It is weird to me that he doesn’t cry when he is wet.  What is ironic is that he plays with his Noah’s Ark boat with the little animals in two’s on the inside.  That makes me laugh every time.  I don’t know what to do about the bed-wetting.  He is only 9 months old and we are not doing the elimination communication as of yet.  We use Bum Genius cloth diapers and I find that the bed-wetting is more so when he is wearing them versus when he wore disposables.  I am soliciting any mom for ideas and help on how to get my baby to dry land!  God bless.
